"Razor" is definitely not the magazine to read if you want white-washed, mundane, run-of-the mill writing...on the other hand, if you enjoy an in-your-face, take-no-prisoners approach to your reading material, pick up an issue and see what you think. The stories are intense and superbly written; the photography that accompanies them is bold and classy. "Razor" demonstrates a unique style that stands above the typical fluff found on newsstands today - you'll definitely find you'll be thinking about what you've read long after you've put it down. Rating: - "Razor" Is The Magazine For The New Millennium "Razor" is a men's magazine for guys with a brain. The stories are on par with the best of "Playboy" and "Esquire". The expose of the downfall of "Talk" magazine was superb journalism. In the crowded field of men's magazines, "Razor" truly separates the men's from the boy's. "Maxim" and "FHM" are kid's stuff. If you don't just want to look at the "pretty pictures" then pick up "Razor". Rating: - Low Rent Maxim Medicore photography, uncomfortable models, and pretentious "tough guy" editorials by guys you just know are overweight losers trying way too hard to sound cool. Trust me - nothing about this magazine is cool.
