Average Rating: Rating: - Threads I have been a subscriber to Threads magazine for several years. I look at it as soon as it comes in the mail. I always find interesting and useful articles that are well illustrated. The articles list resources for appropriate patterns, supplies, etc. There are advertisements for unusual and hard to find products. I even enjoy the ads! Rating: - Topnotch If I could subscribe to only one magazine, this would be it. I read every page of every issue. I am pleasantly surprised at how often Threads will address a current project or question that I have. The articles are always intelligently written and clearly illustrated. I even enjoy reading the articles on topics I will probably never use. The projects described are never gimmicky or cutesy. Overall, this magazine is sophisticated, informative, and beautifully designed. Rating: - The best way to sharpen your skills I have been sewing for 30 years. I started when I was only eight years old. I thought I knew how to sew. I would see garments in shows and wonder how some people could do such a beautiful job. I finally found the answer! This magazine covers so many topics to really sharpen sewing skills and make projects have that extra special touch. The articals are interesting and the instuctions are clear. Even the ads are helpful to find the hard to get items. I would highly recomend this magazine to anyone that sews.
