Average Rating: Rating: - a guilty pleasure I've been reading Cosmo for years and as I got older I realized I could be spending my time reading something better. Every month the cover shouts something about the best kept sex secret. Useful information sometimes but after a while you want substance. But for some reason I still buy this magazine every month. And I still read it cover to cover. And I still say with glee"the new Cosmo's out!" when in line at the grocery store. So yes, this is my guilty pleasure even though it's a bit cheesy. Rating: - Fun brain fluff! I always swear to myself that I will quit buying this magazine. However, I am always drawn to the new covers each month. I know a lot of the articles are recycled and it goes against the grain of today's woman but it is just so much fun! The beauty tips are very current and tremendously useful; some of the articles get away from that "Cosmo girl" cliche and actually have merit; celebrity gossip is juicy and the layout is just colorful and eye pleasing. I am in my thirties and still find great things in Cosmo. Even the book, music and movie reviews are great! It is one of those magazines to help you kick back and enjoy the absurdities of life! Rating: - Cosmo is Fun & Naughty! Cosmo is a fun women's magazine - it has a rep of being all about sex, but it's really not! Sure, there are the steamy confessions, and Cosmo's "Kama Sutra".... OK, there's lotsa naughty... but it also has empowering articles about life's problems, articles about real-life issues, fun celebrity gossip, fashion, and beauty. It's a fun magazine, and I reccommed it!
